Up Pass Creek Yurt 2009 Slideshow

We skied out to the Pass Creek Yurt near Wolf Creek Pass, Colorado once agan for our anual winter break trip. This year the snow was good and plentiful but not all that fresh as it hadn't snowed in a few days. But, once again, on the second night it started snowing and our second day of skiing was dreamy. When it was done snowing, Wolf Creek ski area reported 15 inches of fresh snow had fallen, just in time to cover up our tracks for the next group. The drive back home was tough with crappy road conditions south to Abique Lake. Once we were south of Santa Fe it started dumping again and then really came down in Cedar Crest and Tijeras. We saw several cars skidded off the road and several more stuck just not being able to make any traction. We didn't actually make it up our road on the first attempt and we only got part way up our driveway due to the foot of snow covering it. This one will go down as yet another great adventure.
